Cornelia Williams is a Savannah native and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). She received her bachelor’s degree at Savannah State University in Behavior Analysis. Cornelia worked with children with autism for four years where she was able to help them learn new ways to communicate. She worked with military families and helped them develop resources for a support group. Then Cornelia went to Walden University for a Master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling when she saw a need to help the families of her clients. She started working with families and students in her community to bring awareness of mental health issues. Cornelia is currently working to develop a substance abuse group for adolescence at her current employment. Cornelia is a National Certified Counselor (NCC) with the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) organization. She has experience working with children, adults, and families in different clinical settings as well as experience treating various mood disorders. She uses eclectic therapy styles to provide the best service for her clients. In her spare time Cornelia loves to spend her time with family and friends. She enjoys practicing self-care by going to the spa and relaxing on her days off.
